Coulrophobia Blues follows the tale of a man seeking professional help to get rid of his 'clown' problem.
The film was produced for and showcased at the Knoxville Film Festival where it competed in the 7-Day Shootout category. There, it won Best Script or Story and Audience Favorite.
Coulrophobia Blues stars Ricky Sykes, an up-and-coming actor from Memphis, Tennessee. Sykes has been featured in numerous productions in theatre, film, television, music videos, and commercials. Examples include "The Wishing Tree," "Speaking of Vincent," and "Mayor Herenton Re-election," just to name a few.
Kelly Burke, the director of the film, was also nominated in the 2012 Knoxville Film Festival for Best Editor, Best Screenwriter, Best Cinematographer, and Best Director for "George & Hula" (Skyshot Films). That film actually won Best Date Movie and was nominated for Best Film.
