Performed by Biters, Hallucination Generation is a music video directed by Atlanta College of Art graduate Video Rahim. Rahim received a scholarship to study at the esteemed Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, and has lead a successful career based out of Atlanta since graduating in 1995.
His comprehensive works demonstrate a wide breadth of talent, including national broadcast commercials, music videos, and concert visuals for P. Diddy's World Tour, Usher's Confession Tour, and the Gorillaz Demon Days Tour. Rahim has worked with names including Sleepy Brown, Dropsonic, Arrested Development, Speech, El Pus, and art-rockers Seely.
Currently in production, his most recent project features Knoxville punk band The Dirty Works in a rock documentary “Rebel Scum” set to premiere at the 2014 PollyGrind Film Festival in Las Vegas on Thursday, October 16.
Hallucination Generation exhibits Rahim’s characteristically edgy style, drawing inspiration from John Carpenter’s 1988 sci-fi classic “They Live.” The Atlanta-shot video develops as a sort of mini-film with appearances by local musicians including Cousin Dan and G. G. King.
