Brace yourself to be reeled into the amusing strategy of what to do When the Zombies Come. This short documentary follows Alex Wagner, part-time zombie prepper and part time ACE Hardware employee, as he and his comrades unveil their plan on how to survive if a zombie apocalypse were to ever happen.
This film was directed by Jon Hurst, a graduate of Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. He has gained a significant amount of experience in the film industry being that he was an intern for Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. There he was able to assist with two of the network's shows, namely "Aqua Team Hunger Force" and "Squidbillies."
Hurst's experience and creative flare was evident in this "The Walking Dead"-inspired film as it has flourished in the media and was the recipient of multiple awards. When the Zombies Come beat out more than 8,000 other entries to be able to play at the Sundance Film Festival in 2013. It also took First Place in the documentary category at Dragon Con 2012. If you are a fan of the undead, this is definitely a must-see!
